 How fast can you loop Lake Lorraine on a Stand-up paddleboard, Kayak, or Megalodon? Come to Lake Lorraine for the 5th Annual Loop the Lake Race on Sunday, Sept. 7th 2025! 

Pre-registration is $25 per race; the price goes up to $40 the day of (if space is still available).

Loop the Lake Race

Loop around Lake Lorraine in a timed water race. Choose to race on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. Equipment is provided or you can bring your own.

Option 3

Loop the Lake Race Biathlon 

Loop around Lake Lorraine in a timed water race. Choose to race on a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. Equipment is provided or you can bring your own.

Following the water race, participants will take part in a 1-mile run on the Lake Walk encircling Lake Lorraine.

Cost: $35

Loop the Lake Race Megalodon

Loop around Lake Lorraine on the giant Megalodon board! Grab up to six people for this challenging paddle — it’s harder than it looks!

The public is invited to attend and watch the races. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and cheer squad. Sit along the west side of the lake to enjoy the race and activities! All activities will be held on the southwest side of Lake Lorraine on Westlake Drive.
